Time Bandit by Andy and Jonathan Hillstrand, the fellas from "The Deadliest Catch."
I picked this up at a book signing at my favorite bookstore, Jospeh Beth Booksellers. These guys know how to do a book signing! Andy and Jonathan were terrific - very funny and very patient. The lines started at about 7:20 for the signing and it was nearly 10:00 pm when I got to the head of the line, but people were generally cheerful and everything was well organized (we got free cookies while we waited!). The guys talked with everyone, no one was rushed and they signed not only their book, but posters, t-shirts and DVDs, posed for pictures and were genuinely fun to be around. I have been to book signings with a bored author and grouchy staff, but this one was heaven. I'm really looking forward to the book.

I can't believe I've never been to a book signing. So many people are posting about their positive experiences! Sounds like you had a great time.
You should absolutely check them out! It is really, really interesting to hear authors talk about their work. I've had a lot of fun listening to John Sanford talk about the difficulties of writing a series, Erik Larsen talk about his research process for Devil in the White City and Anthony Bourdain deal sycophants and psychopaths in the same evening. I even check out authors I'm not familiar with. In most cases, they're free and they can be a lot of fun.
