Tuesday Thingers!
Today's Question: Have you ever added a quote to the quotation field in common knowledge? What's a quote you particularly like from a book, one that you know by heart?
Actually, I have! Just yesterday. I also participate in a weekly meme called Teaser Tuesdays, and I added some of the quotes I have used as teasers to Common Knowledge.
As for quotes I know by heart, I can remember going to the theater to see The Fellowship of the Ring and thinking to myself, "That's not how that line goes!" and being annoyed that they left out little gems like "Here's a pretty hobbit skin to wrap an elvin princeling in."
One of my other favorites - and I think I will make a point of adding it today, is from Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray: "There is only one thing in the world worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about."

Great quotes! Wilde's work is really full of wonderful lines to remember.
Tuesday Thingers are a great way to learn about Library Thing!
I have a whole book of quote from Wilde. He is really very quoteable!
Ooh, speaking of Lord of the Rings, one of my favorite quotes is "I fear I am beyond your comprehension" from The Two Towers - love it!
I've never read The Lord of the Rings. I love fantasy and sci-fi, but just couldn't get into it.
Great quotes though!
That is a great quote! I love Wilde - he's so funny.
LOL! Yours has been the first stop where the reply is yes! Way to go.
