Kill Word Verification!

I'm joining the movement, folks!

I came across this little gem over on J. Kaye's Book Blog. I hate having to type in some meaningless combination of letters to post a comment somewhere. I especially hate it when the letters are some swirly italic type and I end up having to make 2 or 3 attempts to figure it out. And I am embarassed to say that, since I never set up verification on my blog, I thought I didn't have it.

So, my apologies to folks who grumbled and struggled on my blog with this. I hope that other folks will check their blogs and make it easier for their readers to comment. I don't expect to be slammed with spam posts, but if I get them, I'll delete them. It's a small price to pay to encourage others to do as I have done and Kill Word Verification!

YAY for getting rid of word verification - now I will comment way more often :)

Double Yah! Many bloggers are like you. They have no idea, assuming because they didn't opt for it, it's not there. That would make sense...but Blogger isn't set up like that. Go figure.

I got rid of it, too, just a few minutes ago!

Oh goody! I got rid of it last week and just think it's much nicer all around.

I totally hate the swirly italic ones! It's always a guess with those.
