Okay, for today's teaser I'm going to cheat just a little - sometimes, you really need that third sentence to make the teaser make a little sense. So, without further ado, from my current book, Any Given Doomsday by Lori Handelband, page 122:
"His hair was long, although he always tied it back with whatever he found handy - string, ribbon, the dried intenstines of his victims. I'm exaggerating. He rarely used anything as mundane as string."
