Teaser Tuesdays

Okay, I know when we talked about memes last week I said I was only doing one and that was enough. Well, I might have been wrong. Teaser Tuesdays is just too much fun to pass up. Here's how it works:

● Grab your current read.
● Let the book fall open to a random page.
Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
● You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
● Please avoid spoilers!

So, here are my sentences for today, from my current book, Confessions of a Contractor...

She was a rust-bucket on her last legs, no doubt about that, but I couldn't bring myself to part with her. She was an old friend who never let me down on a single job, and now she was in the hands of someone else." Page 92.

Want to know who "she" is? Check out the comments!

Henry Sullivan is talking about his father's truck, which was recently stolen.

Also, my copy of the book is an ARC, so pages may vary in the final version.

Great teaser, I love how the author gives such personality to the truck.
